Use of this website's online ordering system and payment of invoices is subject to these policies and terms.
Location & Address

Pickup address is provided with order confirmation. Located in a private residence in Braham, MN.

Communication

Office hours are 8am-5pm Mondays through Thursdays, and 8am-8pm Fridays. (Closed on observed holidays.)

Messages and emails received after hours will be addressed on the next business day. Please allow up to 3 business days for replies to wedding and corporate inquiries.

Order Placement​

Due dates and order details are not confirmed or guaranteed until invoice is paid.

Non-payment or late payment of invoice may result in your date becoming unavailable. To reserve your chosen date, pay invoice promptly by due date.

Review order details carefully before submitting payment.
Order Collection​

Pickup is available every Thursday and Friday for online orders. Pickup address is included in your order confirmation email.

Items labeled as "Specialty Bakes" are available for pickup any day of the week (please note item lead time).

Custom orders will have pickup scheduled prior to invoice being sent.

Need to reschedule the pickup time you indicated upon ordering? Please reach out at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.

No-show pickups will be frozen while a contact attempt is made. If no communication is received from you within 48 hours of a no-show pickup, you forfeit your order, and no refunds will be granted. If communication is received, your pickup will be rescheduled for the following Friday. Orders from repeat no-shows will be rejected.

Please ensure up-to-date contact information is provided at checkout; Bakery is not liable for no-shows related to incorrect contact information or failure to communicate.

Shipping via USPS or other carrier is not allowed due to MN cottage food law.

Refunds & Cancellations

Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact me within 7 days of pickup to discuss how to make it right with either a replacement or refund.

No changes can be made once orders are paid. Refunds are available for cancelled orders up to 24 hours after payment has been made.

Items are made fresh-to-order; therefore, no-show pickups will not be refunded.

Customizations & Handmade Items

Finished products may vary slightly from images shown on website due to the individual, handmade nature of these items.

Inspiration photos: Inspiration and example photos are always appreciated to guide us toward your vision. Please keep in mind that I cannot and do not want to make exact duplicates of photos given to me. There will always be some differences in art style.

Colors: While every effort will be made for accurate color mixing, please be aware that digital images may differ from physical items.

Spelling: Names and other text will be added to items just as they are submitted with the order, so please double-check to ensure correct spelling.

Printed cookies: Image and logo print results rely on high-quality digital files. I cannot improve the quality of digital files but can provide feedback during the order process.

Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and order details, if applicable.

You are responsible for timely communication and order pickup.

You are responsible for the care of your items after pickup. A care card will be included with cake and macaron orders.

You are responsible for reaching out to me within 7 days of pickup if your order is unsatisfactory.

Voucher / Gift Card Terms

Special terms on prize vouchers may differ than the terms listed here and are printed on or sent with the voucher. No expiration unless otherwise noted.

eGift Cards: Valid only for online orders. Gift card must be presented at time of purchase. Non-transferrable. Not redeemable for cash or other gift cards. Treat this gift card like cash. No refund or replacement for lost or stolen gift cards. Use of e-gift card is also subject to Wix's terms and policies.

Other Gift Cards and Vouchers: May be valid for in-person sales as well as online orders. Gift card or voucher code must be presented at time of purchase. Valid for a single transaction only. One -time use. Non-transferable. Not redeemable for cash. Not redeemable to purchase gift cards. No credit or change will be given on the unused portion of the voucher. No replacement for lost or stolen gift cards/vouchers.

Products are homemade and not subject to state inspection. Cleanliness and food safety is taken seriously. Because products are made in a home kitchen, ingredients, tools, and finished products may be in contact with allergens. By consuming these products, you agree to release Baker and Bakery from liability. By using this website's online ordering, you acknowledge and agree to Bakery's Policies.

The information you provide to Simply Sweet Bakery is only used for correspondence regarding orders, payment, collection, and quality assurance. Opting into marketing messaging is voluntary. No information will be copied, sold, or redistributed for any reason. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal and are subject to their terms of use.
